First Steps Montessori English Schoolは2017年に開校し、開校当初は数人の子どもたちが通う幼稚園でした。
その後、たくさんの子どもたちが入園し、今では約100人の生徒が通っています。
私たちは、子どもたちが英語をまるで母国語のように自然に話せるようになることを目指した我々の英語教育に誇りを持っています。
これは、ネイティブの英語話者の先生（現在は全員北米出身）による指導や、「英語だけを使ってコミュニケーションをとる」というルールを守ることで実現しています。
さらに、クラスは年齢ではなく、子どもたちのスキルや能力に合わせて分けられています。
私たちは、できるだけ異なる年齢の子どもたちを一緒に学ばせることで、お互いに教え合い、助け合うことを大切にしています。
これはモンテッソーリ教育の理念にも通じるものです。
2020年には、多くの卒園生から引き続き当校で学びたいとのお声をいただき、小学生向けのプログラムも始めました。
このプログラムもカナダの北米モンテッソーリセンターのカリキュラムを基にしており、お子さまの年齢や英語レベルに合った科目を提供しています。
また、週に一度の英語レッスン、英検やTOEFLなどに向けた集中コース、エレメンタリーコースへの参加準備のためのプライベートレッスンもオーダーメイドで対応いたします。（さらに目的に合わせたオーダーメイドのプライベートレッスンもご用意しております）。

First Steps Montessori English School was founded in 2017, with just a handful of students in the Kindergarten.
Over the years, the number of students have increased and it is now home to approximately 100 students.
We pride ourselves in providing an English education to the level where our students feel comfortable enough to communicate in English almost as if they were speaking their native tongue.
This is made possible with the help of our main teachers being native English speakers (currently all from North America) and sustaining important rules such as only using English when communicating among themselves.
In addition, our classes are divided according to their skills and abilities, not their age.
We try our best to mix the age groups as much as possible to have students learn from each other and to look after one another, as is demonstrated in the Montessori education.
In 2020, due to a high demand of our graduates to continue receiving an education at our school, we decided to start a program for Elementary School students.
Here too, is the curriculum based on the North American Montessori Center in Canada and provides subjects appropriate for their age and English level.
We also provide the option of private English lessons to accommodate students who wish to take weekly lessons, take an intensive course to prepare for important exams (Eiken,TOEFL etc) or prepare to join our Elementary Course program.
